Idea for a HAND Tour DVD
 

I was thinking the other day that Bon Jovi have to release a dvd of their concert in the new Wembeley stadium, then I was thinking how cool would it be to see a dvd recorded from the gig in Croke Park or The Olympic Stadium in Munich or some indoor gigs like MSG or the City of Manchester Stdium or Giants Stadium and I got thinking how cool it would be if before they start touring they decide on a set-list for the dvd, then choose say 5-8 great venues and merge the content on the DVD from all these gigs. That way we'd get to see the best of the best in a way and it would be more of an overall tour dvd. Also, lets be honest, is Jon truly able to go through a concert anymore and not make more then his share of major mistakes? This way they'll have many different performances to choose from, rather then just the one night.

So what I was wondering was, would you all prefer to see one full gig from one venue (if so which one?) or would you prefer to see it spread like I described above?

And what about DVD like Stones did . . . one Indoor show, One Stadium show Europe (Wembley), One Stadium show US (Jersey). . .and one documentary DVD from whole tour something like AAA video. . .

Ask me after the tour when I know which setlist was best, where the audience was best and where the mood of the band was best.

A best of. Two songs from each place of the European show.

A best of DVD would be nice, as they could cut the songs that don't sound as good and replace them with others. It couldn't be as bad as the Crush DVD.

Having the forthcoming Wembley gig would be great, but as Krycek said, can Jon go through an entire gig without making mystakes these days ?

Personally I'd like to have a two DVD thing. One with the Wembley gig, just for the historical moment, regardless to the performance or setlist, and some other gig (maybe Giant Stadium ?) we're the band is on top and the audience is great. You can bet on some venues for that.

I'd like a mix of the best shows with best crowd interaction and the band being on top form. They could also use footage/recordings from historic gigs like the ones that will be held on MSG or Wembley and pick diferent kind of audiences, like the japanese, american and european to highlight the universal kind of band BJ are.

Also, they could include backstage footage from the next tour, like the one on AAA.

They could also have in consideration the songs that were already released on dvd in previous live recordings and try to vary the set list. Of course they would have to put prayer, wanted, medicine, its my life, etc... but why not some new gemns.

Finaly i wouldn't mind if they 'll release a full show for a change, since either Wembley'95 and Zurich'00 (and even the Giants'01 that was aired on VH-1) were not released as the full concert, but only part of it. If they release a mixed performence, they could pick the average number of songs played on the tour.
