You think Bon Jovi has lost it?

I know some 'fans' on here think they have.
But a certain Bryan Adams is releasing a duet with the one and only Pamela Anderson! He has re-recorded 'When Your Gone' which he originally done with Sporty Spice.
Not only that, but he is releasing his THIRD Best of album in 12 years!
Now these are the actions of a desperate man.
I know it's nothing to do with Jovi, but amusing nonetheless.
(Apologies to any Bryan fans out there).

Thank you. Bon Jovi recorded a duet with Olivia D' Abo. Even worse.

Wonder Years rules!

That version of Prayer sucked ass.

Yes, they've lost it.

Still can't figure if they've lost it or let it go, but the result is the same despite some progress with HAND.

I think that the need a real break, for say 5 years or so.
then they can come back and release a real jovi album, and then retire.

Hand is as Ponrauil said a small progress, and it still shows that they have the pontiall. But when you are unmotivated/ uninspired it ain't easy doing good records.

Thing is they probably have a contract specifying they have to release something every year or something to that extent.

We'll probably get a live album or dvd or another best of and then another album in the next two or three years.

Unless it's changed with the recent shake up at Island/Def Jam but I have heard Jon say in the recent past that he's very happy at island because they support him and he's not under contract like most bands to put out an album every year or every two years etc. They can do them when they want.

As for the inital question, an emphatic no. I think with HAND they've regained it. Crush and moreso with Bounce they went too far away from their true essence and I think it was very important for them to get back to doing what they do best and that's exactly what they've achieved on HAND. Now, I hope they make the sort of progression on the next album as they did from New Jersey to Keep The Faith or from KFT to These Days.
