Is there ANY song that should be in EVERY set??

People talk about how the band should change the set regularly to keep it all fresh, but just how much change do people want or expect from the band?

If I had to name a single song that I'd want on every set, it'd be Wanted Dead Or Alive, I just don't get tired of it as a song and I think it comes up very well live, but just my opinion.

I also think that Runaway should be played more regularly than it is, it's an awesome song, it comes up fairly well live (from what I can tell from bootlegs, taped shows, never actually witnessed it live, personally) and one that got the band's name out there in the first place.

But yeah, just my opinion. :)

No. They have enough songs and enough hits or classics that they can mix them up nightly if they want to.

Disagree. For someone who has never seen Bon Jovi I reckon they would go away disappointed if they didnt play prayer. I agree with Chris about Wanted. They are the only two for me that have to be down on every set. Songs like Faith, Bad Name, IML shouldnt get dropped form the whole tour but they dont need to be played every night.

Wanted. Fortunately it is in nearly all sets. A concert without Wanted is not complete.

At the end of the day, these are the band's most recognized hits, and people who are going to see the band for the first time are going to want to see them played live. Nothing's going to change with Bad Name and IML, which i wouldn't mind being dropped every now and again.
KTF though should be palyed every show it's easily one of their best songs live.

oohh people would go away just as dissapointed if they didn't play It's my life.

If they can get away without playing Always, they can get away without playing Prayer and Wanted. Always was the biggest hit of the three, so you know they disappoint people every night when they don't play it.

I dont think its just about what was the biggest hit. Prayer is made for live performances, and who can honestly here say they are bored with Prayer??? Even after all the BJ shows iv been to Prayer remains one of the highlights everytime.

But if you ask around at a show and ask what's everybody most anxious to hear them play you'll get the ussual suspects, Prayer, Wanted, Bad Name, Bad Medicine, Blaze of Glory (yes texhnically a Jon song but still demanded).
I have rarely heard people talking about waiting to hear them play always, but maybe that's just me.
