There is a God!!!!! TAMPA TAMPA TAMPA!!!! And Ft. Lauderdale...I can still go to two shows and I don't even have to leave the state!!! Plus, that is usually the week I take a vacation (Mike's Birthday...poor guy...three tours now that he gets to take me to Bon Jovi for his birthday...LOL), so it all works out perfectly!

I was just about to post this. My radio station just announced it a few minutes ago. They are giving away tickets all week.

Seems like this tour is looking to be the biggest one since These Days. I don't recall there being this many tourdates on the first leg of the Crush or Bounce Tours.

Actually, there were more shows in North America on the Bounce tour than there were during that Cross Road tour you're talking about. The first leg of the Bounce Tour had 38 gigs, the entire Cross Road tour had 39 gigs.

Nice sig Seb!

How many shows have been announced for this tour so far?

August of 95 was not the Cross Road tour.

I know you keep saying that, I'm still trying to figure it out as it's all a blur when it comes to that era. So far it looks like it is the Cross Road tour, but they indeed played songs from These Days on that tour. I remember you saying they sold merchandise during those shows. Did they actually had These Days Tour on it, including American tourdates? I've never seen one of those shirts on eBay.

Salaam Aleikum,
Sebastiaan

Absolutely - I've got 2 shirts from the show. Both have the shows on the back (just cities - no dates.) The front is just the cover of the These Days album.

December 8, 1994, they played a benefit show at the Orpheum in Boston. They had shirts there that said Cross Road on them. That was the only area performance until August of 1995, where all merchandise was These Days. I seem to remember them playing one song from These Days at the Orpheum show - May have been This Ain't A Love Song. That was it though.

Exactly my point. None of the shirts actually say that it's the These Days tour. I know it might sound silly, but just because the shows had the cover of the These Days album on it, doesn't make it the These Days tour.

Could be, a bootleg of that show doesn't exist. The Here There And Everywhere Tour started at April 26, 1995 in Bombay, India and ended in South Africa on December 1, 1995. Including the shows at Wembley etcetera.

It could be, and I'm not saying it is, but it could be that the North American shows were part of the These Days tour. However, they have the same setlists, and it wasn't before 1996 that they had become very different compared to previous shows. The real These Days tour started at may 15, 1996 in Fukuoka, Japan.

Edit: And what I said could be, is probably true.

On a side note, some mod could split this topic. :)

it's the boston christmas benefit concert from 94. they played 'something for the pain' and 'this is not a love song' which would later (obviously) become 'this ain't a love song'.
