Remaster Blaze Of Glory!!!

NOw that all my Jovi stuff is loaded into my Ipod I can really tell a difference between the remastered stuff and the non-remastered stuff. The sound difference between SWW Remaster and Blaze is incredible!! Blaze sounds like an old worn out cassette. They have to remaster it!!

I agree. There's a very noticable difference between BOG and the rest of the albums.

I only have the remaster versions so can't compare, but if you are listening on your ipod they probably aren't great quality anyway, maybe you have the original versions lower bitrate than the remasters.

I know you're an audiophile, but you are wrong there. The output of the non-remastered versions is much lower than the remasters. You can tell with mp3s quite easily, even at lower bi-rates. It's just..flatter. I wind up boosting the volume of the wav files before converting them to MP3 to help with this. But it still isn't the same.

*sigh* not again...... Are you from the Def Leppard board? There were a few too many over there that have difficulty grasping the definition and concept of Remastering.

I tried to explain it to them too....it was a waste of time.

Oh my! Even *I* know what a remaster is!

I agree, BOG should be remastered. I think it's the only one of the solo albums that just sounds...well...old. Stranger In This Town surprisingly enough still sounds sparkly today and that was only released a year later.

They said that the solo albums were to be remastered the following year after the band albums were remastered, and yet they didn't. Maybe they'll be remastered as dualdisks. I'd love to hear particularly Stranger In This Town and Destination Anywhere in Dolby 5.1 surround.
