Interesting Shows

Hi guys.

Sorry for bringing this up yet again but I've got some nice ideas for making the shows a little more interesting. I know there's a thousand threads about sets and shows but please, read on.

Idea 1.
Brought up in the past, the idea of medleying 2 or more Bon Jovi songs together. Remember the acapella bit of Diamond Ring or Because the Night Jon used to sing before Damned? Why not use the chorus from Dirty Little Secret? Jon sings the chorus acapella ending on "we made a promise and we'll keep it, dirty little secret" as Richie kicks in with the famous riff from Damned.

Idea 2.
Another Medley. Ok I guess this is kinda the same as the 1st idea but how many people are boared of the Medicine/Shout medley? How about droppin' Shout and addin' in Novocaine, Ain't no Cure for Love or Robert Palmer's Bad Case of Lovin' you?

I know these ideas are basically the same. There's loads of other Bon Jovi songs you can do it with. And sure, bring some old songs back. End on Get Ready like the early tours did, play Ride Cowboy Ride before Wanted, whatever just dont play the predictable set we're all expecting. Hearing Lola at Manchester '03 will the highlight of the show.

1. Play In These Arms (electric)
2. Drop Sleep When I'm Dead
3. Drop Shout (check)
4. Play In These Arms (electric)
5. Acoustic segment: Wanted DOA, Who Says You Can't Go Home
6. Drop Raise Your Hands
7. Play In These Arms (electric)
8. Play Runaway
9. Sneak in a couple of classic rock tracks into Keep The Faith, making it a medley.
10. Play In These Arms (electric)

Kinda like that one ! That would be a great thing to hear/see !

Personally I'd like to have more musical moments, like big acoustic intros to Wanted, or the long electric bridge during Lay Your Hands on the These Days Tour. Stuffs like that. Piano intro to Dry County too.

Also, I think it would be great to have some solo stuffs on the shows too, like a "Richie's moment" where he could kick some of his tracks (like Who I Am)

Well, I'm not a specialist of the set-list thing but as a lot of people I'm a bit bored with the last ones. They're so predictable.
