Ponrauil, here I come!

They make Canada sound so cool: http://www.dumpalink.com/media/11307...cape_to_Canada

Oh wait, I also got that right here in The Netherlands. And no Celine Dion :)

Iceman 10-31-2005 08:45 PM

Damn, I thought you only came with me.

No, that would be 'preferably', not 'only'.

Yeah, can't believe they forced me to buy her full discography in order to get the permanent residency card. :)

Canada is cool indeed, though a bit too laid back when it comes to it's own problems or urgent global issues, imo. People talk a lot, whine a lot, but if they involved themselves in the political/social world half as much as they are involved in cultural activities for example (which is very cool), then this general coolness could export itself big time.
I think it actually used to be the case, but would now need a second breath.

Don't know if Steph will agree here.

Yes. Not only that, they force me to listen to it at least twice a week.
And when I'll apply for citizenship, I'll get more points for knowing the Titanic theme than the Canadian National Anthem. Go figure.

This says quite a lot about the Candians.

Wouldn't really bother me if I didn't have to wear a logger's shirt as well. I hate them.
But that's the easy part though. Can't say I'm looking forward to facing that grizzly I'll have to put down if I want to become Canadian.
