Do you think they kept songs from 100Million + put on HAND
Hi guy!!
I was just thinking the other day and i wondered about when they were going through the vaults to find songs for the box set Do you think some of the songs from HAND was from the vaults but re-recorded for the new album? Just that imagine they were going through the valuts and found 'I want to be loved' and thought..we could use this in the studio for the new album? What u guys reckon? |
No. All the songs on HAND are new songs. They wouldn't recycle old material when they have the capacity and the passion of writing!
|
I wish they had put The Radio on HAND...even if they had to re record jons vocals so he could re produce the studio version live...
it would of added so much to the album i reckon... |
Well, Last Man Standing was put on the box-set but from the moment it was taken off TLFR it was always intended to go on the new album.
As for the notion of any other being kept over, no. It isn't Bon Jovi's way. They certainly could have and they certainly also could've picked 12 of the best songs and put out a "new" album and said nothing, if they wanted to but that isn't this bands way. Phil |
I once asked that question to the Oompas, they said that apart from LMS, all the material was written specificely for the record. If you believe them or not is your choice, but at least that's the official word.

right passion is what describes their music nowadays. if they had used old songs in the new album, hand would definitely sound better. :p |
I suspected they would use old songs for HAND. However now Ive heard HAND and compared it to the boxset I dont think so, they sound so different, from a different era.

Nope. Box set is so full of crap that I dont even dare to imagine how bad it had to be to get left out from the box.
|
I really doubt they did. But then, it wouldn't exactly be a travesty if they had. Diamond Ring was demoed for loads of different albums.
