Richie & Keith humping until 4 AM
November 17, 2005 -- SOME lucky, or unlucky, Gramercy Park residents were privy to an impromptu all-star country jam until 4 a.m. Nashville-based MCA Records president Tony Brown held a party at a private house on the quiet park after Monday night's Country Music Awards, and a who's who of music came. Legends George Strait and Lee Ann Womack showed up after partying at Universal's post-CMA bash at Duvet, as did Keith Urban, Shelby Lynne, Richie Sambora, Kix Brooks and Ronny Dunn. The group first jammed on the house's roof deck but later moved inside, where they gathered around a grand piano and sang "until sunup."
************** I guess my invitation to this party got lost in the mail. LOL ;) Becky |
...and me who thought it was Keith Richards :disappointment:
Becky, there is a BIGGER and more important KEITH out there so please reffer to Keith Urban when talking about Keith Urban. Thank you! |

DUH. And for future reference, if I say Keith, it's Keith Urban. Again, DUH. Becky |
Now that would have been a cool party to go to. Hey, Becky, did Keith really win Entertainer of the year??? How cool if he did, my satellite "messed up" so I missed seeing the last third of the awards.
I did get to see him play though, someone please entice that man to take some time off!!! he looks really tired and his voice is sounding worn out. he was good but Keith is usually just amazing vocally. |
Thanks for posting...what wouldn't I give to have been there!
Was your posts that put me on to Keith in the first place, so thanks for that as well! |

And I agree--he needs to take a break from the road. His voice is sounding scratchy. :( He's been on the road most of the past 5 years with few breaks. I fear Slippery When Wet-New Jersey syndrome will hit him. |
That's cool, Becky. Hopefully Richie will hook up with Keith when he comes to record his new album.

Good stuff! Richie and Keith playing together would sound amazing. And congratulations to Mr Urban for his much deserved success from Tuesday night. :):) |
How cool for him!!! I'm glad he's getting all the recognition he deserves.
Yea, I'm worried about that kind of fallout too. he just looks so ragged and road weary, and I'm told he's been having real trouble with his voice of late. i just wish he'd stop awhile, go home, fall in love again, whatever it takes to rejuvenate himself. But, I guess you only get to be the "crown jewel" once really, so like the guys he'll ride it out, hopefully step back, make sense of it all and come back and wow us all over again. |
