If Nothing were the same song that Bo Bice will put in his new album, the fact that we will never see Nothing as a B-Side is not true.
The exchange of B-Sides or unreleased songs between artists or groups is very common. I remember an officialy releaseed B-Side song of Michael Jackson that was put in a Nick Carter solo album in 2002, both even released the same year. The song was written by Jackson, but Carter and even now the Backstreet Boys sang it on concerts on their current tour. |

I shouldn't have said they won't release it. Other artists too, yah, but to me, I don't think Bon Jovi would. Maybe I'll be wrong. |
This is a clip of Nothing Without You by Bo Bice. Check yourself

Honestly, people. I wasn't THAT shocked. If you don't care, to be frank, get the hell out of the thread. If it doesn't interest you, have a nice day, ya know? |
Yup, same song with a slight lyric change
I bet people will love it, and it'll go number 1 or something |
i'd love this song as a bon jovi b side cause it's definitely one of my favourites. :(

On the few Bo fan boards I visited, people haven't been digging it much. Saying that it sounds like an 80's hair ballad or something but that's only cuz of the association with the Jovi boys, I assume.
EDIT: "Nothing Without You sounds like it was written by Desmond Child. It just has that familiar ring to it" Is something I read on a fan board. Funny stuff. |
And this slight lyric change will probably result in Mr Bice getting his name as the first songwriter in the booklet. Hehe. Sounds definitely pop, but what's shocking is that the guitar work in the chorus actually shows more details than the standard BJ song in 2005 does.
And by the way, could anyone point me out where to get the full version of BJ's Nothing? It'd be very appreciated. |
