Even if now they're not as good and solid as they used to be it's still a brit thing ... yes maybe the production moved as it's so different i wouldn't be surprised.

did you know that nearly everything is made in china now? apparently they have big areas were they didicate certain ares to making just one product and are far more advanced then the western world
