Question about set list...
Are they really not doing keep the faith this tour?
Im pretty upset that more off bounce isnt included and at most shows they dont do anything off boucne! |
I think it's confused everyone why they seem to have dropped it. It's pretty much always been their best song live since it was released.
It much be that Jon can't sing it anymore! This seems to be the reason for them dropping the likes of Blood & Blood etc! |
Maybe I am crazy, but they are actually doing some songs from Bounce regulary, they are acutally doing Keep The Faith from time to time, and they have acutally done Blood On Blood...
|
Anyone knows the right reasons why Jon can't sing anymore?

There a few suggestions...possibly not the 'right' reasons though. If BJ are still goin 10 years down the line itl be interestin to see how random the setlists will be as they will be probably chosen on a bases of how well Jon can sing them rather than how good the songs are...lol |
Has it occured to anyone that maybe Jon and the guys are just giving KTF a breather for this leg of the tour??? Besides they have played it, not every show but it does make it in so it hasn't been dropped. I've heard Everday, Bounce and Undivided on this tour all of which came off the Bounce record I do believe.

In 2003 Faith was dropped in some of the North American shows during the 1st leg of the tour. Nevertheles it was a stample when they played in Europe and in the 2nd leg of the American tour.
I think KTF, like TD, wasn't very successful in America, so maybe they're doing the same thing they always do with These Days songs, saving them for the European audience ... Have you noticed that I believe is always played in 1 or 2 shows in Europe... I think KTF will be played regularly in Europe, I believe may be played in 1 or 2 gigs, and eventually In these arms will be performed... all KTF album tracks. |
It definitely has NOTHING to do with him not being able to sing it. They did it at the MSG soundcheck and also did the song at the second Philly show and the vocals were just fine. Blood on Blood was performed in Albany on Monday night and I've heard there was no vocal problems. I think it's as simple as they just don't want to do it.

I was the one who requested Blood on Blood and yes there were no vocal problems at all. He did not half ass it or perform it in a lower range he sang the shit out of it TRUST ME!
As for KTF .. I have no idea why it isn't in the setlist I thought that I read somewhere this is one of Jon's favorite songs to do live and he thinks it is one of their signature best songs... I definitely DO NOT believe that it is because he cannot sing it anymore... I think that so far from what I saw Mon night in Albany and what I have heard from others that this is the best Jon has sounded in a LONG TIME. He sounded okay on the Bounce tour but I have the Borgata 2004 show on bootleg and Jon was not sounding his best AT ALL. I thought he sounded great in NYC at the Nokia Theatre gig... which by the way they did KTF at and it sounded great watch it on AOL..... but then watching that clip from the blog from the first nights show in Iowa I thought he sounded off again. But when I saw him Dec 12 in Albany - show #20 I believe of the tour his voice was very strong. He hit all the notes and I was very impressed! |
