Nobel Peace Prize Concert
Found on the MuchMoreMusic tv schedule for thursday..
*NEW* World-renowned actresses Salma Hayek and Julianne Moore will host this high-profile event from the Oslo Spektrum Theater in Oslo, Norway - honouring the 2005 Nobel Peace Prize laureate Mohamed Elbaradei and the International Atomic Energy Agency he leads. Artists slated to perform include Bon Jovi, Duran Duran, Damien Rice and more. Anyone know anything about this? |
News to me.

News to me too and what is the MuchMoreMusic tv thing? I've never heard of that.
|
MuchMoreMusic is just a Canadian music program.
Here's the link to their listings for Thursday. Just scroll down a bit to see the concert listed. http://www.muchmoremusic.com/listing...ate=12-29-2005 |
isn't muchmoremusic a canadian tv music channel??
anyways, they did play at a noble peace prize concert around the release of crush, so it isn't impossible. |
Yeah, you answered my question before I asked it. :)
|
So that explains why I never heard of it, it's for another country.
|
The actual ceremony took place on Dec 10th so unless the guys taped something in the US, then I don't think they will be appearing. And, we would have heard if they did tape something for this.
|
They were in Boston Dec 10th doing a concert so I doubt this info is accurate

this is the link to the Nobel Peace Prize site and there is no mention of Bon Jovi. That being said - Damien Rice is awesome and I'll watch for hime as well. and who knows - maybe something was taped or performed live via sattelite (during soundcheck or something) We've all been caught by surprise before. Cheers, Mikey |
