I Am
 

In my opinion I Am this is one of, if not the best song on the new album. Does anyone have any ideas on why it hasnt been performed yet? They had better play it at Wembley!!

id hate them to play it at wembley, id rather them play something rare like as my guitar lies bleeding or damned

Yeah, I would also like to see them play something rare, like Stick To Your Guns or Dry County, but I just think it would be good to play I Am instead of shit songs like Complicated.

I think that I am is "THE SONG"..i mean,to me it's perfect,there's nothing to say about it,and i'm talkin in general,i'm not referring to this album,it's their best song ever,it's perfect!I'd love to hear it played live and i really don't understand why they still have to!

I have to agree.... Hook Me Up and I Am are the two best thing's to come from the band since the These Day's album. I don't understand why they concentrate on other songs. "Crowd Pleasers". I hate that phrase. Playing the usual certainly doesn't please me. It is up to them though and if it wasn't for them, we wouldn't even be able to talk about this. I just wish Jon would be a bit more daring when he writes the setlist.

crowd pleasers= wanted dead or alive - now how can you get bored of that its pure class

I Am has some pretty high notes, so that's probably the reason. And Hook Me Up was neither a single nor is it that much of a classic. I like it as well, but I can understand that it's not a regular. As with "surprises", if a classy song like "Blood On Blood" is a surprise nowadays, well...

As for I Am... Two words: Mediocre guitarwork. Yeah, it's got a nice chorus, fitting lyrics and all, but the solo and the fills really aren't pushing the edges at all...

I AM is just okay for me.. I certainly DO NOT think it is the best song since TD or the best song on HAND by far.. it is pretty average imo

As for not playing it.. who knows?? It might make an appearance in Leg #2...

I thought that aswell, but then you have to ask, why would they have put a track on the record that they are not capable of perfroming live?
