Any photographers?

Ok, i have a samsung digimax 370, i'm having problem with brightness on my camera when it's set to normal and i'm at concerts the photos turn out really dark but when i set it to be brighter the photos turn out too bright almost white, how am i able to take a perfect picture?

I'll be seeing BJ in June and want to take good photos!

Sounds like your camera's bad. The automatic sensor either doesn't work, or you've got the wrong settings. But, mostly in thos cheap cams, it's the automatic brightness control that just doesn't work. You can get decent pictures only in good lighting situations.

Try using manual setting instead of the automatic, mess around with different apertures and EV adjustments until you get it to the right level.

Most cheap cameras don't have a manual setting.

Well not all, but most have various settings at least, including ones for night mode and such.

How long ago? I only paid £185 for mine which is digital SLR 5.3mp, and I've only had it since April 05 and it has plenty manual modes and settings, which I'm only now getting to grips with.

I bought it just over a year ago!

Does it have any manual settings for aperture or shutter speed? Have a look in the instruction manual, see if it shows you how to change them, if at all.
