i have now seen a richie sambora sig guitar with humbuckers and i have come to the conclusion that i want one

They're pretty cool. Although I'd be happy with any old electric because mine's all duffed up now.....got kinda wrecked when I was flying from Amsterdam to Aberdeen a few weeks back:(

does anyone know how much a new AMERIICAN sambora sig strat would be???

Well to be fair with that guy there's no way for someone that knows Sambora just through Bon Jovi and their radio hits (especially post 2000) to figure out how good a guitarist he is.

But then as they say: when you don't know shut up.

A guy on the board I use to go ,sold recently his collecton of guitar ;and There were some Fender Sambora Us 1st model (with the humbucker dimarzio paf pro & the floyd rose original and of course the big star inlays)
