Planting employees in the audience?
So, I'm watching that USA special they did in '02. When they started to get the audience members to ask questions, I noticed one of the girls asking a question is the bands publicist in a Bon Jovi t-shirt. She asked a question about how they feel now that they've sold 93 million albums. Has anyone ever noticed them doing such a thing at audience participation shows?

I'd obviously thought that alot of these things were prepared questions, but to get their own employees to do it?!

They probably did it because they know a fan would never have asked a question about album sales and they wanted to brag about it.

They ask real fans questions. One of my friends got to ask Jon a question on a television interview a while back. :)

The only time I've ever known them to do that was during the VH1 Storytellers back in 2000 when they were promoting Crush, though weather or not that was a fan or employee asking the question I duno. (Not that I'm too bothered anyway)
But yea, if a real fan wanted to ask their own question, they'd ask them a question many of us would wana ask, like "Can you play something from These Days?!" |
Well, if the President Of The United States can do it, why can't they?

Couldn't something like that just be the idea of the record label, or whatever. It doesn't necesserilly mean it was actually the idea of Jon or any of the band itself does it?
