Opening 4 Nashville?
 

Not that it really matters who opens for Bon Jovi...but I personally LOVED seeing the GooGooDolls with Bon Jovi a few years ago! I just don't really understand what's going on with the opening act thing. Can someone help, please?!! I guess I'm just dying with fear that because I'm going to Nashville, I might have to hear some group like Sugarland--fine if you like them--but NOT what I personally want as a warm up to the greatest rock band ever! Any info would be greatly appreciated! Bon Jovi 4Ever!

They haven't said who it will be yet. They've had local bands at all the US dates so far. There's a LOT of talent in Nashville, both rock and country. Contrary to popular belief, it's not just a country music city. It might be one of the best places to catch an unknown act because the competition will be stiff.

I don't understand the local band thing. I want to hear someone who's song's I know. Even Sugarland would be better than a nobody. There's some cool possibilities in Nashville.

I wish Collective Soul would've agreed to open for Bon Jovi... that would've been a killer bill. Hell, it would alleviate my "noITAinmyshowitis' disease back in OKC. I loved it when GGD open for BJ back in 03. Money well spent.
