Anybody here watch American Idol
 

Does anyone here watch American Idol? I for one love it and find it absolutely addicting. I know alot think the show is really cheesy but it is a guilty pleasure of mine. Anyway it starts tonite.. 2 hour premiere on FOX.

I'm going to have to fight my roomies for the TV tonight. We watched AI last year and it was the first time I had ever watched the show from start to finish.

Yes! I just like watching the first 4 or 5 episodes though where they do all the auditions. Those are fun to watch!

I saw that they've released the Best of American Idol on DVD, but I don't know if it is the worst auditions. I know people who only watch the first few weeks for the bad auditions LOL

I watched about the last month's worth last year because two of my coworkers got into it and they got me interested. I'll try to watch it tonight. This will be all the bad singers, right? :)

it will be A LOT of bad singers but also some of the good. i like to try to "spot" the frontrunners from the auditions.

also it will be on tomorrow nite as well another 2 hours. idol haters will be into overdrive.. idol lovers.. heaven!

I watched last year, and got frustrated when Carrie won........should have been Bo Bice hands down!!!

'Idol' Twins Charged With Forgery, Theft

They sang like angels for their audition on Tuesday's 'American Idol' premiere, but a pair of Memphis twins may sound more like jailbirds by the time the show goes live from Hollywood.

Terrell Brittenum, 28, has been in jail since Jan. 10 on an outstanding warrant for charges related to the illegal purchase of a car in Rockdale County, Ga., east of Atlanta.

He and his brother, Derrell, are accused of using another man's identity to buy a 2005 Dodge Magnum in June.

Derrell was expected to turn himself in on the same charges of forgery, theft by deception and financial identity fraud, The Commercial Appeal newspaper reported.

The brothers auditioned together in September for the hit TV show 'American Idol' and impressed the show's prickly judges to continue to the next round. Segments of the show have already been recorded and will air during the next few weeks.

Fox Broadcasting Co. refused to discuss the Brittenums or their status on the show.

The return of the show Tuesday drew its best-ever season premiere ratings with 35.5 million viewers. It was a 6 percent increase over last year's debut, according to preliminary Nielsen Media Research figures.

Wow. I also heard another "scandal" Kelly Clarkson, the original AI winner doesn't want anyone singing her songs on the show. They did a piece on the Today show and the judges are upset that she is forgetting where she got her start.

For those who watched last night there were some doozies.. remember Zachary the "guy" in the high heels who sang "Queen of the Night" Oh my....

I agree about Carrie- did not like her. I liked bo but i think constantine should have won "hands down"
