God you guys take great photos...been great sitting here looking at them...I love the panorama ones you take Thomas...stunning.

Now...can someone give a tip how to post a pic here...I use the manage attachment...but it tells me my pic is too big...I've got stuff at fotopic as well...how do I link something from there here so you can see it here without just putting the url to the pic? [I've had probs doing this since the change to the board...am not very pc savvy and look at html stuff and go 'what the hell is that?"]

Ta in advance,

S.

Try a site like www.imageshack.us you can upload, choose to resize (for here it is best to use 800 x 600 or less) and when it finishes uploading it gives you different links, including a thumbnail for forums option, so you just copy that code out to here

this one...have posted it bigger, cause to be honest, I think it's pretty good...truly one of those 'fluke shots'...we had been walking on the beach, taking a stack of pics..decided to go up to the kiosk, get some chips and sit and eat them...seagulls descended from everywhere...we let some chips cool right down, tossed one out to them, and I fired the button just as this dude took off in front of me:

You're welcome anytime Kev. I live in a suburb of Adelaide called Largs Bay...part of the SA coastline is in a gulf [St. Vincents Gulf] and it creates a long stretch of magnificent beaches...Largs Bay is just one of them...but, in my opinion, the very best. If I go for a brisk walk, takes me about 5 mins to get to the beach from my house...if I'm lazy, about 1.5 mins by car. If you ever want to come to Oz, big tip....not in Jan/early Feb...esp. not Adelaide at that time...not unless you love temperatures hovering around 39-43'c days on end...best time to ever come here [any part of Oz] is late March through to say the second week of May...that pic was taken in June [and that's winter here]
