You dig has a very particular left eye ... it is wall eyed right ? ... it's beautiful I love the close up shot of his eye ...
I also love the chocolate cafe shot :p

Thomas Anderson 02-03-2011 05:49 PM

Wall-eyed? That's not a phrase I'm familiar with. He is a blue merle bordercollie, and some of them do have blue in their eyes. It was much more noticeable when we got him, when he was about 7 weeks old...

He is adorable and his eyes are really beautiful !!... I searched the word ... because I know the term in french only ... it is for 2 eyes with different colors or with some whitish blueish spot in one eye .... to be wall eyed the 2 eyes have to be different .... if both eyes are that way I guess it's not wall eye anymore

Jovimimi 02-03-2011 05:57 PM

I found this about the eyes
http://abnormality.purpleflowers.net/genetics/eyes.htm

it seems the blue merle bordercollie has spots all over the body INCLUDING the eyes which is then another thing not wall eye ...

Gorgeous Nina - I am very much a fan of the Brooklyn Bridge - I think it's beautiful. However I first fell in love with it in college when I found out that a woman finished the construction - way back then.

Kathleen 02-15-2011 03:58 AM

And those photos of Yankee Stadium are very nice too.

Thanks Kathleen, The history of that bridge is fascinating isn't it? I can't tell you how many times I've walked across that bridge. Every time a relative comes from Italy it's a must that I take them across the bridge and then I give them a tour of downtown Manhattan. Doesn't matter how many times I walk across, it's breathtaking each time.

Here's a few taken last summer at Niagara Falls (obviously LOL)

It's a very odd thing to see - there are around 120 of the statues scattered across the beach. If you stand there when the tide is out and look around, you can't tell if anyone is on the beach of if it's just the statues.

i agree with Kety, my favourites are essencially shots of simple every day things. i was going to take a quick look at your album but geeez, 186 pages... i'll have to do it when i have a bit more time.

i love the train one, it makes me feel like taking that empty seat and ride it, regardless of where it's going. actually, not knowing where it's going is part of the appeal ;) just out of curiosity, at what time of the day was it taken? the hot chocolate one is another of my favourites.

Look at my sets then - http://www.flickr.com/photos/blampish/sets/

That's basically all of my photos split into 70 different sets, so you can pick a theme.

That was fairly early one morning on a train to Liverpool. I actually had most of the carriage to myself, I think there was just a couple of people at the other end.
