I have a Hewlett Packard PhotoSmart 945. It's at the bottom end of digital SLR camera's but I'm happy with it, it does pretty much everything I want and is prett good quality.

Those are gorgeous Neil - the one of the bird is fantastic. I'll ask if I can send that one to my Mom (as long as you don't mind) as she is a photographer professionally and I know that she would enjoy it. I don't want to start an argument about stealing pictures :)

yeah i have the same camera as neil, but about the sharpness well... photoshop helps alittle hehe in my case

I don't tend to sharpen mine too often unless they are a little blurred, when resizing to the size I show on here they tend to be nice and sharp.

If yours are not sharp enough when you resize check how you are resizing them. If you want them sharper when you resize make sure to resample using the 'bicubic sharper' filter.

Not the best image to test with babe, the shot is focused on the right to start with so the left is blurry anyway lol

I tried one. The left was bilinear and the right bicubic sharper, then the lower half had a sharpen more filter applied.

I suppose so. I hardly ever sharpent my images though.
