Questions about a couple of songs

I hope someone here can help me, I've searched a little bit, and I can't find definate answers for these -

Did Richie or BJ ever do studio version/demo of "We All Sleep Alone"?

I read somewhere that the song "Drive" was a demo from New Jersey, when I always thought it was a demo from Destination Anywhere - is it a band song or JBJ solo song?

Thanks to anyone who can help! :)

He/they might have done that, but AFAIK studio versions arenīt available anywhere. Not even on a bootleg. Only live versions exist.

Drive was a b-side on Jonīs Midnight In Chelsea-single. Iīve heard too about the song with same title from New Jersey sessions, but where the info is coming from, I have no idea. And it might not even be the same Drive thatīs on MIC-single. Weīve seen in the past that they like to use same song title more than once.

I have an interview somewhere where Jon said he did originally write Drive for New Jersey but didn't record/release it then. Finding that interview might be next to impossible though. Well, it wouldn't be impossible, I just don't have time to look for it. LOL

I believe We All Sleep Alone was written specifically FOR Cher (after Slippery and before New Jersey) so I doubt that Bon Jovi ever recorded it for themselves. The band played on her recording though. Jon and Richie seemed very into getting other people to record their songs for a while. The band played it at Hammersmith Odeon in 1990. Richie played it a couple of times while promoting his solo stuff.

Thanks for the extra info Becky! I've heard their live versions of it, I just thought that since they demoed DARFILA, there was a chance they'd demoed WASA aswell, but I guess not...^^
