I'd like to run a little contest here......
Hi there everyone,
I've been fortunate to have received a copy of the setlist for each of the 7 shows I've been to so far (many thanks to Dave on the soundboard). Where the January 23rd Toronto show is concerned I have actually received 3 copies. 1 has since been given away, but 1 remains extra. I thought it would be great to give it to another deserving jovi-fan....and since there are so many of you out there, I feel a contest of sorts is in order. Now, unfortunately timezones are a matter of fact that I have no control over...for that I do apologize, but here goes.......... The first person to correctly answer the following skill testing question can stake claim to the extra set-list (I will pay postage - if necessary). SKILL TESTING QUESTION: Name 2 songs released on band albums that are not credited to 'Jon Bon Jovi' or 'Richie Sambora'?? (This pertains to North American issues of the albums) I know it should be easy for everyone....but I don't want to get overly obscure. Cheers everyone, Mikey D |
I don't like Mondays, Mrs Robinson
Both released on These Days.. I hope thats what the question was.. |
They were'ne on the North American issues - and were only part of the bonus disc...not the actual album. Dig deeper Rhys, I'd love for it to go to a jovi deprived australian.

On North American Issues:
She Don't Know Me Memphis Lives In Me and then there's Ride Cowboy Ride which is credited to "C. Kidd and K. Swing." LOL |
Aah crap. I got those 3 songs too; should've known.
Can you cut the setlist in half? =P |
Well Becky...you made it a little faster than I would have liked.
Memphis lives in me definitely would NOT count - a box set of b-sides and rarities dowes not qualify as an album. But the technicality that the parentheses were to indicate was the crediting of Ride Cowboy Ride... I just get sick of hearing stupid 'skill testing questions' I thought this one would at least hit double digit posts. Oh well.... PM me the mailing addy and I'll get that off to you. Mikey out |
Rhys, I'll make you a photocopy (not the same but better than nothing) and send it off
PM the addy to me. Mikey |
craaaaaaaaap too late!...but good job on the answer, it would taken me way more time....and question are the audibles on there, if so, which ones were on for the 23rd, just curious to know what i may have heard
|
For all interested, the printed setlist for the 23rd was as follows:
Last Man Standing Bad Name Complicated Wild In The Streets Story of My Life Sleep Runaway Born To Be My Baby Radio Saved My Life Living In Sin I Won't Back Down Have A Nice Day Who Says You Can't Go Home It's My Life I'll Be There FOr You - Acoustic Blaze Of Glory - Acoustic Always - Acoustic Bad Medicine Raise Your Hands Prayer Welcome To Wherever You Are Saturday Night Treat Her Right Wanted Audibles: Capt Crash Blood On Blood Older Everyday Bounce Wild Is The Wind Last Cigarette Congrats to Becky for the speedy answer. Well, sorry I got it too fast. LOL It was really just a matter of timing. If you notice, I was typing while you were replying to Rhys. I wasn't sure if you were counting the special stuff like the box set and live CD because if you did that, you could name a few more and I took the stab at Ride Cowboy Ride because even though it was Jon and Richie, they used their nicknames which was kind of funny.
It was really awesome of you to make the contest! Thanks. :) I'll send you something too Rhys. But I have to admit I'm pretty thrilled to "win." I don't have a Bon Jovi set list. I have a few others, but not one from my favorite band! |
