What is your favorite cover song that Bon Jovi has performed? Personally, I love hearing them cover classic and new rock songs. They always make them sound better than the originals.

The Boys Are Back In Town, still not as good as the original tho

I like that they sing the songs nearly as they were in original and don't ruin them like so many other artists do. The German charts are full of horrible cover songs from originally very good songs.

Well, the fav cover songs that they did was Bridge over troubled water from Life Beat III and Lean on me.

Oh, nearly I forgot LOL. Drift away is another one that I absolutely love. Unfortunately they don't play it anymore.

I agree with Lean on Me, I love their version of Help too, most of the ones where Richie gets a verse or two to himself really... It's Only Rock n Roll but I like it is a good example as well.

House of the rising sun! I love it. It's a beautiful song performed by The Animals, but I think I like it even more when it's done by Bon Jovi :D . When bands are able to do that, just adding that little bit extra to a classic like House of the rising sun, that band must be very good. But we knew that already from BJ :wink: !

And I know what you mean with the covers in the charts nowadays... it's terrible! It started with It's Raining Man and Eternal Flame ruined by some... well, whatever... you know what I mean. Both original songs are pretty good IMO - they're classics! But now there are so many of those covers... why? can't they write they're own songs anymore?

My all time favourite BJ cover would have to be 'Sympathy for the Devil' - I know they don't do the full song (although Jon did - although I didn't like that one as much), but when it is played in the middle of KTF it is awesome!

PS I also know what your talking about with covers. Atomic Kitten have just done another one (can't remember what it is - but it is poor) & I recently heard 2 hard rock versions of Madonna songs - which were just as bad - At least BJ don't officially release covers.

I also like Rockin' all over the world a lot. And, and, and...

For sure With a little help from my friends, it's their best cover song and they know it themselves.
Other good ones are Rockin in the free world and You keep Me hangin'On

I love Sympathy For The Devil, I like it better than the original! The Boys Are Back In Town is good but not as good as the original.

Definitely It's My Life/We Gotta Get Out Of This Place and With A Little Help From My Friends.
