I just can't tallk too much..... its really gets annoying to me unless i'm drinking or really something important... but its amazing for me to see how much some people talk and never tried of talking and repeating same things again and again...

With most people, I don't talk that much. One of my best friends and I were having lunch one day and we both had a lot on our minds and weren't saying anything and I said, "You know what I like about our friendship? We can both sit here and be quiet and not feel like we have to entertain the other and neither of us is going to leave thinking the other was mad or in a bad mood."

Never mind the talking - you owe us a detailled report of your vacation (only the good parts of course).

:D

I talk very little to be honest. I mean why say something for the sake of saying something? I only really talk if I have something genuine to say and I'm a much better listener than I am a talker. I'm naturally a very shy person when it comes to talking, and I struggle to find the words that I want to say sometimes. It's probably also why I'm a single guy who doesn't have many relationships.

When I'm comfortable I can talk *a lot* and about everything and anything, but there's very few people with whom I'm like that. With the rest I talk when I need to. And I can stay in silence for a very long while if I'm not comfortable or around strangers.

One of my friends speaks so much, and as you say she repeats stuff time and time again. That I can never do - comfortable or uncomfortable.

But I agree with Becky - silences are one good way to measure privacy :)

I talk a lot when I'm around most people, I hate awkward silence more than I hate not saying anything really important or relevant

around friends, though, I don't mind silence so I talk a lot less

I'm the same way. If I know someone and I'm comfortable with them I can talk and talk. But then there are times when just being in a friends company is enough and I don't feel like have to talk a lot. Around strangers or people I don't really know I have a really hard time making small talk. I envy my friends that can just strike up a conversation with anyone, even people they barely know.

I have my moments, especially when I've been drinking, but in general I'm a very untalkative person. I probably come off as unfriendly, but I'm really not, just very shy. Plus it seems to take ages for thoughts to get from my brain to my mouth, so I'm not very good at witty off the cuff comments or anything

I'm the same as Keeper. With the addition that I also talk a LOT whenever I get nervous or something. Not that I will make sense then; I can even say non-existing words, which will only make me more nervous or embarrassed. There are times in which I just need to learn how to shut up :(

When with my mates I'm pretty talkative and in school I talked a lot and I suppose I can make up smalltalk pretty easily but then again I am happy to sit back and listen whenever someone is talking. There is the odd time were I'm with someone and I'm thinking what the hell do I say next, with some people after you've talked about the weather there isn't much else relevant lol.
