Giants This Summer...
 

So, I think I'm officially going to come to New Jersey to see the boys at Giants Stadium this summer. Now I want to know who here is actually going and where everyone could be staying.... I need some advice as to places to stay because I'm not looking to spend too much on lodging. Ughh... It's a pain. Not to mention renting a car, which I don't think I'm old enough to anyways. Thanks everyone!

Me too! I have decided I am DEFINITELY going to Giants this summer. Don't know how I am going to get there or anything or who is going to want to go and make the "pilgrimage to the sacred land" but even if I have to go alone I AM GOING. I should be getting a nice little refund from the government after taxes and that is what I am splurging on ~ a trip to Jersey. It would be nice to know when they are actually playing because you can't really make a reservation til you know the date. I have never been to NJ so help with hotels would be appreciated. :) I know there is an Embassy Suites right across the street from Giants that the fan club usually stays at so it will probably be full if they do a FC trip.

It would be so cool to meet up with other fans there... would be awesome.

Im considering going too. If I do, we'll meet up or something.

I'm thinking of it, but it depends on a lot of things

if I wind up getting an apartment over the summer instead of waiting until next school year starts, that'll be a big decider, because Providence - NJ is a lot more doable than northern Vermont - NJ

I've got friends in Jersey so hopefully I wouldn't have to pay for a hotel

As for the date.. it is obviously a guessing game but i would think they would take a little break after Wembley.. maybe just one or two weeks. So if US shows started the last week of june or the first week of july maybe Giants is going to be the very end of July or beginning of August. What was it last time- Aug 9 and 10 I think.?.

In 2003(?) we stayed at the Sheraton across the freeway. It was a very nice hotel and very reasonable. Alot of fans stayed there, as well as the roadies, and we really had a ball. A bunch of us took a limo to the stadium and was probably the most fun ever had going to a concert. Got to know alot of really nice people.

I'm definately hoping to be at giants this summer - it just so happens that the family and i will be on a self drive holiday in that area of the states around end of july beginning of august time so i'm severely hoping the guys will be playing at that time cause i might just put myself in the right place at the right time he he he (living in england makes the whole process v difficult lol) - god i hope my plan works out xx

12 minutes from Giants??? WOW. Allright, now tell us what are some good places to stay nearby? Or maybe we should all just crash at your place? I've got a sleeping bag I can dig out.... ;)
