woo I'm going to prague next week
me n some mates have been talking about it for ages but guys being guys everyone wants to go but no ones prepared to actually do anything about it or sort money out so one of my buds found a great deal today for next monday, no one can get time off or is skint etc... so the both of us have just decided to go ourselves.
a little gay n some might say sad but if i didn't do stuff cos my mates were losers who never have money to do anything cool, i'd never get alot done so meh :-D anyone been to prague? what sites n places should i check out? i actually feel like takign in a little culture amongst all the cheap drink and other less savoury vices on offer. |

prague is great, the most beautiful city i've ever seen. forget all about paris, prague has the real beauty (not that i didn't like paris of course :p). it's not big, you should be able to see the whole city in 3 or 4 days but you'll wanna stay for ever. :)
food (delicious, similar to german) and beer are reaaaally cheap. you'll have a great time, i'm jealous now! i'll just stay here and study... (i would post some pics of prague, but i can't find them (?) :/ ) http://www.czechsite.com/ |
oh and don't forget to visit the torture museum. hehe... (there was also a spider museum next to it).

I've been (last year) but I can't remember much about it. :)
All the bars around the back streets between the bridge and the squares are great. There is a bar called Luvkas which is at the bottom of the bridge by the river which is great! I wish I could remember the name of the bar with the topless pole dancers, but the beer is still only a pound a pint. Look out for it, it might be called 'Garden' or something. |
we decided just to go on saturday so we catch some of the weekend instead of being there mid week :-)
can't wait. |
