Angry with amount of info and AXS
 

Does anyone else feel that the amount of info that BSWJBJ and Bonjovi.com gave before these tickets went on sale.
I think they went about releasing the presale information for the Euro gigs the wrong way! they should've posted all the dates on the websites first, giving the fans a chance to see which ones were available, and to make some plans, they should've also stated about the gold sections. Then they should've sent out the AXS email a day or 2 days later.
Plus they should never have changed the old system whereby BSWJBJ members could get themselves and 1 other person in the pit. This new way is just an opportunity to make more money from what USED to be a great privelege to fans. What is the fan club worth now to eurpoean fans. £30 for 4 magazines! I bet the touts are going to make a fortune with these shows!!!!

Nowhere stands that the Gold-tickets are INSTEAD of Fanclub-Tickets. No info how the FC-wristband thing works next year are given yet. Backstage wrote weeks ago that they still have the best places for us. The Gold-Ticket stuff was not an idea of the fanclub and only exists in the UK, nowhere else.

Paul UK - I agree it would have been nice to have found out about the dates a couple of days before they went on sale - coming on at 10pm at night to find out loads of ppl have already bought Gold tickets, didn't give me much chance to plan ahead.

however... why does being a fan mean you have to be right at the front near the action?? sometimes it is better to take in the atmosphere of the whole concert... after all it is the music and not the visuals I go for.

it is money making etc but i'm sure they will let fanclub members in with normal tickets - it's just logistically it would be a safety hazard because i see it being pretty crammed in there...

eg - who honestly bought through the presale just normal general admission standing or seating? i'm guessing very few because those types won't sell out for a long time, if at all...

wolverhampton is fairly small, but old trafford i estimate at getting about 70,000 in (it can get that many in for football fully seated)...

As for planning - we were all given until saturday to plan... it's just we all want to be right near the front.

The fact is that people didnt know what the gold was. When i seen on ticketmaster all i seen was £27.50 or £37.50, I didn't want to get the £37 ones cos i thought either the same FC system was still in place OR the extra price was like the last few tours where it was for RESERVED SEATING. With the crush tour GA tickets were £25 and the reserved seats were £30. But i didnt want to sit and the next tour, i want be standing. So i missed my opportunity for the GOLD places. So i might as well wait until saturday morning and see if there are gold available to the general public. Its not that i think that gold isnt a good idea, its just that there wasnt enough info there for a lot of people to take advantage.

i definitely agree with that Paul...

even now i'm still not certain how things are going to be organised on the day of the performance... and since i live in manchester and it's a nice area i wouldn't have minded for the 1st time queuing up from really early in the morning...

even though it's more expensive i think in theory its a better idea... after all who wouldn't pay £10 extra to save having to queue up for about 8 hours before the doors open... the inconvenience of it and buying food etc etc etc...?

The main thing about the stadium shows is - even if you are at the barrier it is the equivalent of being about 6 rows back at the manchester apollo or smaller theatres, and the stage is twice as high...

... but what you do get is that atmosphere when night falls...
