Nashville Surprise
 

According to a Backstage user who lives in the Phoenix area, Jon was interviewed on the radio this morning and gave away some "big surprise" that would happen at the Nashville show. Obviously the first thought is Jennifer Nettles will show up to sing WSYCGH, but that's not really that big or unique, is it? I think half of us expect that. That post was removed. I made a silly poll to guess what the surprise would be and that was removed too. So, did anyone hear this interview this morning? Is there really some big surprise coming?

I live near Nashville and Jon will be calling one of the country stations here tomorrow morning. I'll try to listen and let you know if he says anything.

Does it involve ITA? Maybe they have some honky tonk arrangement for it?

What's the point in telling people there's going to be a surprise? That kills half of the surprise effect already...

Is that show not sold out? That's the only reason I'd understand.

Perhaps they've finally discovered this board and are going to play Dry County as a final encore :p that would be great, but to say it would be unlikely would be somewhat of an understatement

Hmmm well I checked out Sugarland's tour dates and they have a show on the 12th in Connecticut but are off after that til the 23rd of Feb.... so Jennifer could be the surprise but who knows? I'm sorry but why would backstage delete your poll? It's not like you were starting a rumour or revealing the surprise.. just talking about what it might be isn't allowed... come on...... haven't they ever heard of freedom of speech over there?

Hmm - I never thought of that. If it is I can only hope that somone records it.

Well...I guess that will mark the point in the show where I make a trip to the ladies room or to buy some bottled water or something. The mere thought of her being there to do anything depresses me. If she does join them on stage hopefully they won't let her ruin more than one song.
