I've seen 5 so far. The best one, for me, was the first Toronto show this tour. All the other shows, either Jon would be having a good night and Richie wouldn't be, or vice versa. This show, the setlist was killer, the band was awesome and my seats were great.

Hyde park 03 or Wembley 95

Dublin, back during the Crush tour.
We got These Days, my favourite song, and then for a 3rd encore they came out and played U2's ''One'' just for us. There was a tremondous thunder and lighting storm the WHOLE way through the gig, and the atmosphere was just, well, electric! andi |

I've only been to 2 shows, my first was on the crush tour in fort Lauderdale Florida, and the second was on the Bounce tour in Detroit Michigan, I guess I enjoyed the Detroit one better, but I think that had to do with me having better seats.

I've been to 6 so far. I have a tie.
* edit date* February 20, 2003.. Air Canada Centre Toronto... Great Setlist... (KTF, DAMNED), Six Encores.. Great Crowd-~Jon commented it seemed like 1986 all over again with all the screaming going on. The band was in a great mood and seemed to never want to leave the stage. Plus it was my first BJ concert after an 8 year drought. December 12, 2005.. Pepsi Arena Albany.... Front Row Center Seats... Jon in a great mood and AMAZING VOICE.... After seeing my sign Jon decides last minute to do BLOOD ON BLOOD (not on the setlist) ~ dedicates it to me... first time the song is played on the HAND Tour that night! How could I pick just one??? |
I've been to two on this Tour. I'd have to say the Dallas show was better. There was a better setlist including Everyday, Someday I'll Be Saturday Night, and Blood On Blood. My seats were great for both shows. My fondest memory will always be the excitement leading up to Last Man Standing and the song itself. The effect is what amazed me. The screen covering the stage and everyone is waiting for it. The first notes kicked in and the screen started to rise and Richie was just rippping it. Then in the back, Jon comes on the platform... He's all by himself, just him, his acoustic, and the platform. The lights were all on him. How awesome is that? When they guitar solo came on, he turned around towards the stage and everyone screamed. I just can't get over that effect. It's something that will remain with me the rest of my life.
