Bon Jovi Announces Worldwide 'Bounce' Tour

NEW YORK -- International superstars Bon Jovi will mount a worldwide tour in support of their acclaimed new CD "Bounce" (Island Records). Tickets for the tour will go on sale Saturday, November 9th through all Ticketmaster outlets and charge by phone. The tour will kick-off February 8th in State College, PA at the Bryce Jordan Center and then travel to the band's home state of NJ for a two-night stay, February 10th and 11th at the Continental Airlines Arena in E. Rutherford. (See below for a listing of tour dates).

Beginning on November 5th, fans who have already purchased "Bounce" will have an opportunity to register for a special Internet pre-sale -- a full 3-days before the traditional on-sale -- through the band's American XS serialization program, available on every CD. Each copy of Bounce contains a unique PIN code which fans register at http://www.bonjovi.com and are then automatically entered into the program. Registrants then receive a passcode via email from Ticketmaster with a link to their site (http://www.ticketmaster.com) which allows fans to purchase up to four tickets per passcode. There is no membership fee for American XS. In addition to the tour pre-sale, the program will continue to provide fans exclusive benefits including unreleased tracks, behind the scenes footage and interaction with the band.

The tour comes hot on the heels of the band's highest chart debut ever for "Bounce" (#2 on the Billboard album chart) and the tremendous response to the hit single "Everyday." The tour will include material that spans Bon Jovi's entire career, as well as emphasize current material from Bounce including cuts like "Everyday" and the new single "Misunderstood."

In addition to the tour it has just been announced that Bon Jovi will do a special live performance for Good Morning America from Miami on Friday, November 15th. Good Morning America will be on the road for the week culminating with a remote from the beach in Miami.

Bounce has garnered acclaim from fans and critics alike. The New York Times writes, " ... Bon Jovi has become a rock and roll institution" while The Associated Press praised, "The boys from Jersey are back with "Bounce" one of the best hard-rock records of the year." Bounce is the follow up to the incredibly successful album, Crush which sold eight million copies worldwide (certified double platinum in the U.S.), spawned the hit singles, "It's My Life" and "Thank You For Loving Me" and earned the group their first ever Grammy nominations for "Best Rock Album" and "Best Rock Performance by Duo or Group" for "It's My Life."
