Audibles...
Hey eveyrone, my name is Antonio I'm new to this forum, I've been a fan ever since I can remember, last 2 shows was HAND tour in Sunrise, and first Tampa. I wanted to know if anybody here has a list of the audibles for this tour?? After going through the set lists of different shows I realized (maybe i'm crazy) that in a span of 5 shows they're doing the same songs over and over again only in different order. I read somewhere that These Days has been an audible but hasn't been played yet. :-(
Well, i'm looking forward to a great time. Nice "meeting" everyone here. Antonio. |
I know of the audibles for three of the Toronto shows (I gave away the setlist from 1/24 to the young kid sitting beside me)
1/21: I Want To Be Loved Saturday Night 1/23: Captain Crash Blood on Blood Just Older Everyday Bounce Wild Is The Wind 1/30: Radio Saved My Life Tonight Bells of Freedom Blood on Blood Runaway These Days :( Complicated Everyday I also read that Miss Fourth of July was an audible for the show in Albany. |
Maybe this would be a nice tread for everyone to post what the audiables were for a show he or she knows the audiables from? Audiables are always interesting imo.

OK so I know what an audible is but I'm wondering if anyone knows how a song gets choses as an audible and how the band decides whether or not to play it. So far with the exception of In These Arms and Wild Is The Wind the audibles don't seem to be rarities or fan favorites (ie. Bounce, Captain Crash) but they aren't exactly easy songs on the voice either (ITA) so I'm just wondering what critera they use. As for actually playing the audibles are they usually played in the encore or earlier and is it solely based on how Jon's voice is feeling or are other factors (such as length of show, feelings of the rest of the band, crowd excitment) taken into effect as well ... Seriously doubting the crowd excitment part but you never know.

I think that audibles, when they are done, are almost always played in the encore. Audibles are songs that Jon decides to play kind of at the last minute. I think it depends on alot of things such as the crowd, Jon's voice, and what the band feels like playing. Although sometimes they play different songs that are not on the setlist as the planned encore OR listed as an audible. Read on:
I'll break it down in three parts.. ~ALBANY NY SHOW~ Planned Encore Welcome Everyday Saturday Night Treat Her Right Wanted Audibles Born to Be My Baby** Blood on Blood ** Miss Fourth of July Actual Encore Welcome Born to Be My Baby** Treat Her Right Run Run Rudolph Blood on Blood ** Wanted In Buffalo they didn't do any of the audibles listed... but they did change the planned encore completely with what I will call "unlisted audibles" ~BUFFALO NY SHOW~ Buffalo Planned Encore: Welcome Blood on Blood Treat her Right Wanted Audibles on the setlist for the Buffalo: (none played) I Got the Girl Bounce Saturday Night Actual Encore: Welcome Just Older** Capt Crash** Treat Her Right Wanted **Just Older and Capt Crash were played but nowhere on the set even as audibles.. that is why I called them "unlisted audibles" |
