what is your fave song from the H.A.N.D. cd? i think mine is i wanna be loved. the whole cd is great,but i cant stop playing this one!

I think novacain as well... I love this record. Almost as much as These Days but not quite. As I am almost 30 and have twins, I relate to a lot of this. Ive been married 3 yrs but also, like normal, I look at other women.. who doesnt. After having kids, songs like novicain would have more meaning.. I cant imagine going through that... most songs on the album to me indeed tell a story like Jon says. I like the story as a whole...

Novocaine here aswell. For me, lyrically and musically, it's one of the best songs the band have recorded since These Days.

(special mentions go to Last Man Standing and Last Cigarette also.)

"I am",definitly.This song just makes me feel completely worthless....Its lyric is so deep and the interpretation and the music leave me speechless.
Then Cimplicated and Wildflower.But i love the whole album!I think it's great!

surely Dirty Little Secret...would have been a regular song on album...

it`s really hard to choose one.I divide BJ into two phases 'until TD' and 'since Crush' so HaND is the best in since Crush period for me. and yeah, DirtyLittle should have never been only a bonus track. It`s probably ma fave from HaND, I also like Novocaine and I Am has great vocals. Pitty Nothing didn`t make the record....

Tough one. My favorite is a toss up between Welcome To Wherever You Are, I Wanna Be Loved and One Last Cigarette. Then I Am, Story Of My Life, Novocaine, and Bells follow. I LOVE this record.

Novocaine definitely. It just something fresh, something new. I loved Say It Isn't So when Crush came out and ever since Novocaine is IMO their best song.
Both song have these punk twist mainly in the backing vocals and also the short riffs. Even Jon's voice sometime - heavily THE CLASH influenced.

Ai ... let's say Last Man Standing and Novocaine. HAND folllowing close. Also Bells is growing a lot on me, always liked it but at the moment I am loving it ... and then of course there is Dirty Little Secret, and I appear to have listened to Nothing more than any of the official tracks. So there ya go! :p

When I heard his CD, I thought "wow, this song seems like I have heard it before!" As I listened again, I thought hmmmm and realized it's Bon Jovi's "Nothing" but it has been renamed "Nothing Without You."

I Am for sure is my fav song on the album, but I also really love HAND, WTWYA, I Wanna Be Loved and Last Cigarette. On the other side, I just cant stand Wildflower and strongly dislike WSYCGH.

... I don`t like Jon`s solos much, especially DA. but Novocaine is great. funny I enjoy Jon`s self written songs on BJ albums :)

I Am is probably my favourate followed by I Wanna Be Loved. The lyrics are better than most of the other songs and they flow well.

I didn't like DA at first either, and I was 17 also when I got it. I really had to perservere and listen and listen before it started to grow on me. It's one of my favourate albums now as from a lyrical point of view the songs are just great. It's not made to be commercial, and it's evident that Jon gave the charts a backseat on this ocassion and wrote what was true to him.

Trust me, perservere and concentrate on what the songs are about and you'll like it. :)

when I got HAND I listened to it over and over and at one point I had to take my headphones off because I was starting to really feel my glasses squished between my ears and my head, and the next day she told me "I have that freaking dentist song stuck in my head"

Really tough, but I like Have A Nice Day the most. Usually, I prefer an album track, but not with this one.

I Want To Be Loved, I Am and Story of My Life are all excellent too.

My fave is dirty little secret,it is by far the best on the album.

i love all the songs....but my favorite is last man standing....i love the lyrics.

Well I gotta go with the title track as well. Apart from that, LMS, IWBL, Who Says, DLS and I Am are all pretty even. The rest is so-so.

I haven't heard the bonus tracks, but from the North American release, my favourites are LMS & WSYCGH. Also, like Story of My Life, HAND & I Am.
