I had heard that the opening act for the European dates was Nickelback but I don't know if it's all the dates or just some and I havn't heard much about that since the initial announcment but if it, is consider yourself lucky! I'm not a huge Nickelback fan or anything but I went to see them in Toronto about a month ago (tickets were REALLY cheap) and they put on a hell of a good show ... MUCH better than the guys on the Jan 23 BJ Toronto show. I appreciate what Bon Jovi was trying to do with having unknowns open their shows since thats how they got their start, but the band we had (I think they were called Mulholland Drive) were pretty terrible. They were bluesy and you couldn't understand ANYTHING the guy was singing. I think the opening act needs to match the sound/music style and energy of the main show and Nickelback will do this very well (Just as Goo Goo Dolls did the last time I saw Bon Jovi in '03.

It is indeed Nickelback at all UK shows. I don't feel it's going to encourage me to go out and buy their albums. They never really had any depth in my opinion.

There's a band called Mulholland Drive? Awesome. If you've seen the film, the fact that you can't understand anything pretty much sounds appropriate :D
