swing/jazz version of "it's my life"

was listening to last.fm radio when it came up with a cover of "it's my life" by someone called paul anka who i'd never heard of before, but i listened to it anyway. it was surprisingly good! i think it was the sort of thing that they were aiming to do when they did "this left feels right", but better (in my humble opinion).
if anybody's interested, it's on an album called "rock swings" and if you have last.fm (audioscrobbler) you can stream it too.
just thought you might like to know.

I know that one. Even though I usually like "strange covers", this one was just... eh.

Yea, I guess you are a little young to have heard of Paul, Having My Baby, Anka, lol!! I've heard his cover of IML and I thought the big band/swing thing was pretty good.

By the way: Paul Anka is the songwriter of My Way. He wrote it for Frank Sinatra.
I love his version of IML.
Much better than the TLFR disaster.

I love the "Rock Swings" cd. His "Smells Like Teen Spirit" and "Black Hole Sun" are awesome.
