Poll: Should I post Richie/Denise gossip on my fansite?
I'm looking for opinions. Should I mention the Richie/Denise gossip on my "band" news page of my fansite, or should I follow the lead of bonjovi.com and Backstage and ignore the "elephant in the room".
My news page is mostly news about the band (awards they win, tv appearances, tour news, etc.), however, I have in the past posted pictures of the band's personal activities (i.e. Jon and Dorothea at a premiere, or Richie and Heather at basketball games, Richie's broken arm, Jon with Mickey Mouse). And I did mention that Heather filed for divorce but nothing about the supposed email pics. However, I can't decide if posting Richie/Denise gossip belongs on my fansite or not. What do you guys think? |
No-one else can tell you what to post on your own website.
Personally I stay clear of all such gossip/rumours, even the threads here I don't venture into. Just because these guys make music that we like and we buy it doesn't give us any right to intrude their private affairs. |
If you want a serious website with serious infos you should stay away from gossip.

Probably not. Richie is quite the ladies man so who knows how long their relationship will last. And it really isn't all that newsworthy who he dates.

what the heck question is this? since bj.com won't report on it of coure u can. otherwise it will nothing more than bj.com or any pseudo-official crap.
anyway, the question is really stupid |
Why the **** not??

I'd stick to band stuff only if I was making a site. I'm not really interested in their personal lives to be honest.

Thanks to everyone who voted and/or replied. I appreciate your opinions. I think for now I will ignore the gossip, and only mention the relationship if it appears to be long-lasting, as my site is a band site, not a "who's Richie dating" site :)
