Dublin gig cut short!

They have been saying on the news all day today that the Jovi gig HAS to be finished by 10PM! Something to do with all the locals getting gready and wanting tickets for the GAA!

SamboraQueen21 05-14-2006 08:55 PM

What time does it start?

Ollie 05-14-2006 09:15 PM

Well theyl obviosuley just start earlier givin all u lot more time to catch the last train to wherever ur going...i cant see that this is causing any damage really..

Irishshin 05-14-2006 10:08 PM

Lmao

What would locals wanting tickets for the GAA have to do with a Bon Jovi concert?????
The concert has to be over by 10pm because of the local residence.
Its like a curfew for the concert.
NOT because they want GAA tickets?????

Its a bit confusing. It says on the tickets the gates are opening at 6pm and concert starts at 7pm. There is a local band competetion so whoever wins that will go on for half hour, then Nickelback, then Jovi....

Well yesterday after 2 songs Jon shouted he was going to keep going untill the cops got him off stage.
They had to stop at 11 yesterday and they didn't either :)

My advice, keep the whole crowd very hype and they keep coming back! :)

corkimp 05-14-2006 11:07 PM

that worked in the past at dublin, so we'll all be shouting and screaming - no voices at the end though!! :D hehe can't wait lads, less then 6 days to go

Jonny Sambora 05-14-2006 11:29 PM

Its gonna be amazing!!

Irishshin 05-15-2006 12:27 AM

well the news said that they had late licenes for Jovi, Robbie Williams and one other gig dont remember which, but it all rested on the people around the ground letting them, the locals wanted free tickets for the GAA to give them the go ahead! Only saying what it said on the radio

Sorry! Your right, it just sounded so damn stupid and its freaking stupid.
How rude of those people and how rude of stadium people to let them have their way.

This is NOT good news. As for waiting for anything official to be announced, well we'll prob find out that after the concerts over. :(
