Has anyone seen the ED tv video?

I just saw this for the first time last night. I had the song but I never knew there was a video. I was watching TV with my son last night and he had recently bought this movie. I haven't seen any discussion of this here on the boards but look at these screen shots from the video:

Do they remind you of the smirk artwork from this tour? No smirk face but the same colours and feel to them.

I also have a promo of the song Real Life from the movie that says it has an album version on it and a radio edit version. As far as I know it was never released on an album (except the recent box set).

Maybe everyone but me knew all this but I found it strange that it seemed to fall through the cracks.

Really?

There's actually like...4 versions of Real Life, i'd say. The version from the soundtrack, the radio mix, an instrumental version, and the box set version.

I never thought of it like a pre-smirk thing. Good call. That and the Real Life video and the Everyday video is nearly the same damn concept. But good thinking.

EDIT: You're welcome to PM me, Kathleen, if you're looking for any of the versions.

Are those shots from the film? I don't remember seeing anything like that in there.

As for the song, it was on the soundtrack, and I have a CD single which has the original and radio edits too I think.

That video made it my goal to get a cardboard David Bryan. Preferably delivered by Tico.

It's good to have goals.

Shots from the music video. There were posters advertising the next Jovi record in it.

My son had the directors cut and the video was an "extra" along with the BNL video Call and Answer. I didn't know there was a video for that one either LOL.

Thanks for the offer Matt - I have all audio versions I think. Do you have the BNL video?

And yes those screenshots are from the video extra.

Directors cut, eh? I had no idea there was more than one version of the video. So we're both learning stuff.

ACTUALLY there are two videos for Call and Answer. One features scenes from the movie and one doesn't. I'm sure I have at least one of them kicking around, if not both. I'll see if I can find em and I'll PM when I do

I think it's a bit of a stretch to link it to the smirk when the only thing the same is the colour ....

Black text on a red background and it's a pre-smirck artwork? No, that's called a coincidence. Otherwise Coca-Cola could sue BJ because they stole 50% of their artwork...

What makes me curious is the SWW logo in there... Gets me wondering what direction that album was supposed to take before they gave it up for Crush.
