What ever happened to Backstage with Jon Bon Jovi?
 

Been out of the loop for a while. Went to BSWJBJ and found that you cant get into any other part of the website except for the front page(you know what I mean) What is the story there?

You have to be a member to get into the message boards. They stopped taking new memberships 12-31-05. The fan club is probably ending after the tour.

ya was a bit crappy when I found out you can't go to look at anything else on the site unless you were watching the fanclub deadline like a hawk! I've been so busy the last year with work, renting a house and more that i didn't keepmy eye regularly on the sites. ah well.......... who knows, might open up again eventually!! lol

Mrs. B is retiring so no one knows at this point what will become of the fanclub once the tour is over.

That is unfortunate.

No offence meant but I hope it gets handed over to someone who knows a wee bit more about how to manage it and handle the however many thousands of members it has.

My suggestions:

Full online facilities so you can join the FC

Clear information on what you get for joining

Access to good extra features (videos/photographs/sound files/interview archive etc) on a revamped website

and most importantly:

the arrangements that FC members can expect when they attend a show - ie wristband arrangements

some improved structure to the information given to venues/security so that whatever measures the FC put in to place are followed to the letter

I agree with that 100%, part of the reason why I never joined was because the website seemed like a giant mess, no updates for months etc!!
I do hope that it gets into more capable hands soon because I would really like to join.
