Whats all this pit bollocks?
Im confused by what people are saying in threads like the Dublin one, first pit, second pit, third pit?! Behind the stage?!
What what what?! I have (providing Ticket wankers actually send them to me..) Gold Standing. I assume judging by the ticketmaster plans that I'll be in the front bit, with a barrier seperating me from the unwashed masses a little bit behind. And thats it? No seperate areas for those fan club gays? Or is it totally different? And people are going out about wristbands, those are for fan club bummers only yes? But someone way saying they didnt get in the gold standing although they had a ticket because they got given the wrong wristband!? I don't want a fooking wristband to wear like some 16 year old emo. Someone, enlighten me!! |
Basically thers 3 sections the front one for GC ticket holders...a 2nd one for early comers with GA ticks...and a 3rd section for the rest of the GA ticket holders....im guessin by the sounds of it before you go in officials will walk up the line and give out wristbands to people who warrant a space in the GC or the 2nd circle....and you can only get into these circles if you get a wristband...
And it sounds like at Dublin people were sent into the wrong que's by officials who didnt know what they were doing and they ended up not getting the wristbands and not gettin in the GC... :( Hopefully the Bon Jovi tour team will now make sure each venue know about what exacly is going on, after there was clearly confusion about what was happenin at the Croke Park gig... |
eh, so I have to wait in some ****ing que and get a wristband?! I've got a gold standing ticket - therefore I go in Gold Standing. I expect to be able to arrive 5 mins before the concert starts and to get into Gold Standing, nevermind this waiting for a wristband bollocks, Ive got a ticket.

bunch of houmous eaters! You trade ticket for wristband at the turnstyle I hope rather than what you indicated earlier with people going up and down the lines?
|
the wristband allocation was a ****ing shambles in Dublin, for me anyway.
I dont see why they couldnt have given us our wristband as you entered the pit, showing our GC ticket or whatever. But no, we were expected to have queued in the right Q outside the stadium (there were no signs and they wernt telling us shit) and there was pandamonium as they tried to distribute them. They wouldnt let me in GC despite me having my GC ticket becasue they hadnt given me the correct wristband. andi |
Sounds like you have the right to sue someone to me. You've purchased a gold standing ticket but haven't been able to use it, should email watchdog or something, maybe contact trading standards
|
let alone all those fan club members who write numbers on their hands and catch all the front rows and if you try to move towards them you put your life in danger. i know gc tickets is a whole different thing but the fan club members will still be there, right?
