Help in picking a show:

I am debating what show to see on the American leg of the tour. I don't think I can afford NJ this time around and am wondering where you guys think the best show would be for rarer songs (like TD material and DC or anything rare). Logistically, Chicago is probably where I will end up, but do they normally play great shows at Soldier's? Is Montreal a better bet? Or Pennsylvania? I went to a NJ show once and it was great with a phenomenal crowd, but they still certainly didn't play anything different from the normal setlists, which was disappointing, and it was more expensive, so it doesn't seem worth the effort of the trip and expenses.

I am looking at the euro. setlists and while they are all better than the US first leg shows, some countries or big cities seem to get better shows, like Germany for instance :) where they reprised DC in the same place they did it last 10 years ago.

Any opinions?

thanks!

B

Montreal seems to be the best bet for something rare being played.

Plus It is the first show of the US outdoor leg so you can bet it will be pretty well performed.

Montreal will probably be an excellent show first show back the band will probably be in great form and ready to rock. Philly is a place that may be worth the trip, it's a favorite place of theirs to play and Philly fans are pretty damn demanding of great shows so the band usually plays hard there. Giants of course will be great although I'm betting the final show on the 29th is the blowout show , if they are going to go for it all it will be there.

I was thinking the same thing. Montreal will be great.. they always do great shows in Canada plus they might be into trying out something new since it is the first show back. Plus they are pumped up and fresh.

Philly is a good bet too since Jon considers it like his other hometown with the Soul and all.

And then obviously Jersey. The last show better be the best one and they had best pull out all the stops!! :D

Come to Montreal! Hold one of my 7800 F signs!

David's gonna sing. Or get stabbed. Either way, it'll be entertaining.

What am I thinking going to Giants?? Ya know you are really making me want to go to Montreal. God i hope they film it for a DVD..... ya know with all the other activities going on, i.e. stalking, threatening, violence, etc. And then the cult of all the 7800 worshippers you plan on brainwashing. Sounds like good times. :p

All this 7800 talk is making me think about going to Montreal. Not like I'm going to have a hard time getting time off work...since they're only scheduling me for 3 shifts a week when I was told I could get 35-40 hours a week.

I would die of an overload of excitement if you made it to the Montreal show.

DO IT DO IT DO IT DO IT DO IT

You can hold one of my signs! And hold me back so I don't start tackling band members to get them to do my bidding.
