Gold Circle DOES NOT guarantee space inside the walkway
 

Coventry tickets finally arrived, along with confirmation that the walkway does indeed split the Golden Circle in two. Wristbands to the front area will be given out first come, first served.

I had done so well at not getting annoyed with the ticket prices and predictable sets till now!!

Well now i dont feel that bad over the whole scandel with my GC ticket in Dublin....

actually, no its MUCH worse! - they were giving hundreds of wristbands out for the 2nd enclosure all to the normal GA fans.

And the fanclub members will get in there before the general public, looks like you will have to be there early to get a chance to get in the inner pit. This is what they did at U2...they had so many wristbands per entrance for the outer pit and that was a first come, first served. I think it's a good idea generally but not so good if you don't want to spend the day having to queue up, weather looks like its going to be lovely so that should make the queing all the better I suppose!!! I am a fanclub member but I'm not bothered about being front row so I won't be in the queue from silly o'clock, infact, with the GC the way it is now it doesn't pay for me to be a fanclub member anymore so won't be renewing again, will just get GC in future

I have a golden circle ticket and presume by the time i get there i'll be in the 2nd pit. But i think it'll be the closest i've been at any other show anyway so to be honest i'm not that fussed. Can't be arsed with all the queuing and just because your in the 1st few rows doesn't mean you'll enjoy it more than someone a bit further back...that's what i keep telling myself anyway ;-)

I too also have Gold Circle, i wanted to get there to be inside the walkway but will not get there at a silly hour to be at the front.

My question for people who have already seen this is, Is the walkway used all the show or just the first song. i know Jon starts the show from the Walkway but does he use it several times, Does anyone know if Richie uses it, If this is the case will not be the end of the world if you are in the 2nd pit.

So far I've only been to the Dublin show, and Jon used the walkway 3 times (including starting from there for LMS).

None of the other band members use it.

All the 6 shows I've seen so far Jon used the walkway twice (first song and somewhen in the middle of the show); Richie unfortunately did not use it.

you're all forgetting that there's much more space to dance with pretty girls in the 2nd enlosure ;-)

This gold circle tickets things seems like a complete sham.

Was anyone, who has been in either inner or outer dissapointed?, or when you actually get there, especially in the outer circle, you're still damn close so it's cool anyway?

i was inner circle and not even slightly disappointed. and if you're there to predominantely see jon then there's no way you'd be disappointed in the outer circle either. judging by the photographs i've seen, people were literally inches from him.
