I've never heard of Napalm Death or Fugazi. I find it hard to believe that Slipknot and Marilyn Manson have been influencial enough to warrant a ranking. And Pantera, Faith No More, and Slayer in the Top 10?
Makes you wonder how Bon Jovi even got on that list! LOL |
Bear in mind that you're not going to agree with them if you're not the typical Kerrang demographic ....
I may type out the Bon Jovi article ... it's surprisingly fair. There's also an interview with Jon later in the issue where he speaks briefly about giving the fans what they want by plaing Dry County again ... although bizarrely he also says something like "We may even pull out our first single, Runaway again ..." |
Iron Maiden? What the hell, I know what you mean about the Kerrang demographic, though, so it's not unexpected.
To each their own. |

I think the Top 10 is quite decent. Just take Green Day out and its perfect.
The rest is...hmm...how shall i put it? WHAT THE ****?! Fugazi? Blink 182? Emperor? Motorhead should be way more upfront. I would even put them on 2, after Iron Maiden who of coure absolutelydeserve being NUMBER 1. Regarding Bon Jovi - that's actually nice recognition. They look perfect right inbetween Nirvana and Korn. |
Aloha !
