Spin

Good luck to you guys in the future. Dunno if you are still hanging around this board or what but I think you put on a decent show.. the crowd reaction may not have been the same but I guess thats to be expected when people don't really know your songs all that well. I think you have the makings of a good outfit there.. vocalist in particular was good. Good luck chaps.

they came here to drum up support and it worked. i doubt the guys, as much as they liked to tell us, own a bon jovi cd between them.

Yeah hope they go on to get more exposure, they did really well from what I saw on Saturday. And I think at least Karl is a big Bon Jovi fan, he's been a member on these boards since early 2004 from the message he posted! Enjoyed them dedicating "Going Nowhere" to the Paraguay Football Team on Saturday night.

lol.. well they also put out a mention to these very forums yesterday. From a personal point of view it was nice to see that they've only been together since 2003 (which would be about when Bopn Jovi did the Bounce tour) and now they are supporting them.. great incentive for people like me to really get going musically as it shows others what you can achieve if you really go for it I guess.

i thought spin played it cool. they had the bottle to do it and they did get the crowd going a bit so well done to them

I know for sure from chatting to Karl that he's a MASSIVE Bon Jovi fan and he'll be hanging around on these boards no fear!!

He did mention Jovi Talk during yesterdays set too.....

I think they did very well both days and can't wait to see where this exposure takes them ;-)

Sorry but they didn't do it for me - the band that opened in Glasgow were definitely the best in my opinion.

We did however bump into Spin's ex drummer and now PR person in Leicester services today and he was a nice guy ...

I thought they were pretty good for an unknown band, a lot better than the band at coventry.

I met Spin before the 2nd night at Milton Keynes. When i was checking into my hotel, a holiday inn in Stevenage, there were these guys sitting in the reception and they saw me with my Bon Jovi Forever Tshirt on and asked me if I was going to the gig, and then they went on to tell me who they were!! Pretty cool, and im not bullshitting by the way!! They also told me that the night before they had been hangin about with Jon and Richie around a campfire drinkin beer and wine till two in the morning! The lead singer, Karl, told me that Jon was the most down to earth guy you could wish to meet!!

They gave me their card, there websites are:
www.myspace.com/spinmusic
and
www.spinband.net
