If Jon hadn't failed as an actor...
If Jon hadn't FAILED as an actor, would there still be a Bon Jovi? What do you think?
Here are the FACTS: 1. Jon's songwriting has become lazy. Obviously his heart isn't in it anymore. 2. He has lost his singing voice anyway. 3. He is more obsessed about his looks than any hetrosexual male should be. (Maybe he has caught gaydom?) Seeing his blond thinning hair on CNN (the world's most trusted news source, trivia fans) yesterday was the highlight of my otherwise uneventful day. 4. His 'acting' delayed the release of the follow up to These Days by a year or two. That nearly killed the band. 5. He obviously still wants to be an actor since he continues to take roles in Z-list films even Christopher Lambert wouldn't take. And he also said so in yesterday's interview on the world's most trusted news source. What do you reckon folks? |

Whats the point of making all that money if you can not follow your other passions?
So Jon wants to be an actor? Let him, the band all need time out and to follow other paths. Family, career etc.. They have made there money so I say fair play to them. There is no way that the band could have stayed together this long without the breaks apart from each other. They have said many a time that this is what keeps them going. Fresh ideas found away from the band. What would you like the band to still be out 7 days a week promoting and signing autographs everyday. Opening music shops etc.... Or let them do there own thing and still put on the best LIVE performance the world has seen night in and night out while on tour. We all follow other paths or try other things as we get older. Its nature. I think that Jon would still tour and still want to be in the band even if he does make it in acting. He loves it....simple. |

It's so very sad that you have to give your own thread 5 stars.

And by the way - sure, Jon is gay and his hair is to blame for everything. Very deep thought. |
Also, with God's help we freed Iraq.

When did this board turn into backstage with jbj? You are all ignoring a very valid question and attacking me. What do you think? If he hadn't FAILED as an actor, would there still be a Bon Jovi?
