I just read this and copied it from the sky news page,

CAN'T believe Richie is not in this list

I'm lost for words. :(

Don't get so down about it, this is someone's opinion, it's not everyone's. I think it's unfair to place guitarists like that. :roll: There's plenty others that should've made that list that are just as talented, but are in different areas of music, so they were overlooked.

I agree Richie should have been somewhere in there.

Kurt Cobain??? Hello???

The inclusion of Cobain probably says it all. & wheres Joe Perry?
No-one from Iron Maiden is there either. :?

For sure Richie should have been somewhere in the list,but we know what he can and I don't care what the magazines will say!

That's a horrible list. Kurt Cobain says it all. Any guitar player knows that kurt Cobain wasn't really even a guitar player. Hendrix was very influencial but all 80's "shredders" were better. where's paul gilbert etc.

Ok if Kurt Cobain is number 14. then where the hell is Jon!?! :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: No, but seriously if that guy gets top 15, Richie or Joe Perry should be at least in the top 10. Bon Jovi and Aerosmith don't usually do well in these chart type things. I don't see why though. :evil: :evil:

That list sucks and i tried to reply to it but i couldnt

I think some of its right and some of that list is VERY VERY wrong!!

BUT i have to say that we all know on Crush for example where were Richies solos?? For a guitarist to be known as a great guitarist they have to have MASSIVE guitar solos and in Bon Jovi Richie hasnt been getting those........HOPEFULLY Bounce will change that!!

He has got massive talent, we all know that but i just think that it isnt showcased as much as it should be!! Do ye know what i mean??

I aslo think the Edge should be in that aswell........he is a really inventive guitarist!

I still think Richie should be in the List but not as some people say No 1 cos i think the top of the list is pretty accurate but COME ON ...........Kurt Cobain???!!

Maybe they also included how much the guitar players have influenced the societey??? Otherwise I can't understand what Kurt Cobain is doing in the "Top" 15. Don't get me wrong, I love what Kurt has done, but everyone knows that he was a bad guitar player. If he's on that list then where the hell are Jon, Bryan Adams, John Lennon or the Blink 182 guy (or the O-Town guy who sometimes picks up a guitar by accident)???

i shouldn't worry about the list.i dont take these things seriously if i did then i'd be upset that eddie van halen was only no7.

And one more thing I just realized: Kurt Cobain No. 14, Mark Knopfler No. 15....that says it all.
