What next?????
 

I have noticed that since 2000 they have released an album of some sort every single year apart from this year (so far), and they have toured 4 times, that is pretty good going (did they even stop between the crush and OWN tours???????)

so with only just over a month of the tour left what do you think the next project will be? I know there have been rumours of getting straight back to work on the next album and thay have said they are having a great time at the moment doing what they are doing but does any body else have any specualtion.

Prediction: new CD with one or two country flavored songs so they can follow-up to the success of Who Says by hanging onto that market. I don't look for another duet, but a single-worthy song that can be a crossover.

Maybe they will redo all the hits country style??

They already redid the hits - they called it TLFR and it didn't go over well.

I tend to agree with Becky, I think that they will try to capitalize on their country hit in some form or other.

I know previous history of them capitalizing on what works indicates more cross over songs. But, I'm thinking no. Ha ha, I'm sure I'll be totally wrong! I think a Richie solo will come before a band record though. I really wish Jon would do another solo but I don't think that will happen.

I hope they call it a day and we get loads of shit like reissues and stuff and maybe some video material from the 80s like MONSTERS OF ROCK 1987. Oh damn...I wish that would happen but no, instead we'll get country songs from Richie AND from Bon Jovi. ****!

What I want to happen (I've got it all planned out :D):

2006: Live CD / DVD from the two Giants shows
2007-8: Solo projects
2009: Double disc Best Of to commemerate 25th Anniversary
2010: New band album, different direction to that of the last 3

Richie's new solo album has already been scheduled for release. The release date is 2012.

ROFL!! Based on Richie's past of dragging ass on getting a record out, you are probably right on target.
