I'll Sleep When I'm Dead Question
 

Why is it that most of the times these days(based on bootleg concerts), Jon sings the chorus differently, esp. the "I dont need no bed, Ill live while Im alive, Ill sleep when I'm dead"... its kinda bland compared to the original version in which it goes up and more energetic...

That's why the song feels tired now, except for the toronto performance on night one which was really good.

I thought Sleep with the medleys mixed in of Jumpin Jack Flash or Dancing in the Streets which was done at the three England shows I went to (Southampton, MK X 2)definitely picked up the song and made it more fun.

Its just that I really hate the lackluster chorus Jon has done with it. Its not energetic and not fun listening to.

He should try whacking David with the guitar onstage. That livened the video right up.

It desperately needs to be livened up. I loved it on the bounce tour, and they spruced up born to be my baby on that tour too but now both of them just slow it all down for me.

This song just needs to be retired.

He can definately reach those notes, it´s not a hard song for him to sing. I guess he just thinks it sounds better that way.
IMO there´s no need for Jon to play guitar in this song. Maybe that would make it more fun.
