I live in an area where there isn't a great music scene and i don't drive so can't get to the surrounding areas. wouldn't really fancy lugging a marshall stack around on the no.52 bus.

i know what you mean, where i live theres shit loads of emos and were like the heaviest in our area besides the goths so were pretty well known but for all the wrong reasons.

saying that lately weve been asked for encores and then been stood there like total mongs thinking what can we play

thats the time when the acoustics come out and the drummer and bassist go and have a drink and me and duff sit down and play a few acoustics like LOAP, Shooting star, 3AM, Breakfast at tiffanys, dont look back in anger, misunderstood etc

its all good though

just need a record deal

Bad gig experiences, i was in a rockcovers band around 2 years ago, half way through the gig the organisers needed a break in our set. The first half of the set went ok, a few mistakes, but nothing major, tho the crowd wasn't gr8, somber mood following the death of some motorcyclists the previous nite which was connected to our gig. So half way through, just before the break, the bass player's saying in a less polite way, "we're rubbish, they h8 us, this is the end of the band, we're not comin bk on ". This was betweeen songs, so at the break he goes off and locks himself in his car, refusing to come bk out. Meanwhile ppl were comin up to us and saying, what a ggod set we were playin and were really enjoyin it etc...! Eventually he came bk out but that was the end of the band, !

Had another night when the power cable on my gt6 got damaged and hence kept powering on and off, to make it worse I broke an A string during Ace of spades on a floyd rose equiped guitar ! Ended up a good gig for everyone but me tho!

I had a back up guitar, but no back up fx unit. I was half way through the song when th string went, plus the strat was in dif tuning...... but hey, , got through it
